Q: What benefits do I get from membership?

Being a member of the Troy Historic Downtown Business Association is multi-faceted.  Our focus is on having "active" members who participate in events and attend meetings to direct this association.  Members benefit through networking with other members, advertising during special events, and a listing on this website.

We are constantly trying to improve the association and our members' benefits to make this a beneficial partnership for everyone!

Q: Does the THDBA get involved in local politics?

The THDBA only gets involved in political issues when it affects business in the downtown area.  The association votes on the proper way to respond to changes and then presents those views to the local governmental body as appropriate.  We are not a political organization and do not financially support any political groups.

Q: How is this association making a difference in the community?

The THDBA strives to bring fun, family-friendly events to the community each year that not only benefit the association but also benefit local charities such as the local food pantry.  In addition, the association strives to beautify the area, keep it shopper-friendly and work with the local government to keep it maintained.
