Troy Historic Downtown Business Association


The Troy Historic Downtown Business Association (THDBA) is pleased to host several events throughout the year.  Most of our events are optimized for family fun.  We also sponsor other events in the community to help raise awareness of our goals and to support the community as a whole.

Easter-egg Hunt:   

Hundreds of children are delighted to welcome the Easter Bunny when he arrives at the park.  Games and treats are enjoyed by everyone as is the main event of the Easter Egg Hunt!

Car Show:                                                                                                                                
The downtown area comes alive with the sounds of revving engines and squealing tires as our car show gets underway in August.  This event is geared more toward adults (although children are welcome).  The downtown area is closed off for part of the day and the downtown streets are lined with muscle cars, street rods and any other hot vehicles you can imagine.  

Pumpkin Festival:  
Everyone sees orange during the pumpkin carving contest!  Hosted annually downtown, this event draws a lot of families looking for good, clean fun.  Whether you carve pumpkins, get your face painted, or go through a “haunted maze”, there is something to please everyone in the family.

Night of 1000 Stars:

Prepare for a night of caroling, carriage rides, and Santa’s arrival.  This evening out for the family is full of magic.  Our downtown streets are lined with candles, the smell of fresh roasted chestnuts fills the air, and you can even find the perfect Christmas tree to bring home.  The THDBA brings all things Christmas to the downtown area.  Come join us to one-stop shop and have fun all at the same place!
